Aline and Matt

Salomon Estate Wedding Photographer

Salomons Estate Wedding Venue

The estate’s historical architecture, well manicured gardens, and natural woodlands all combine to give any Salomons Estate wedding photographer the opportunity to deliver their couple a varied, creative and memorable collection of wedding photos.

With a dash of Aline’s Brazilian flair and a touch of Chinese influence from Matt, I knew it was going to be a great wedding.

I was delighted when Aline and Matt booked me as their Salomons Estate wedding photographer. Situated just two miles outside of Royal Tunbridge Wells, Salomons Estate wedding venue is a Victorian mansion set in 36 acres of stunning outdoor space.

Pre-Ceremony Wedding Photos at Salomons Estate

Aline took the opportunity to showcase her stunning wedding dress outdoors too! Meanwhile, Matt and his groomsmen were also busy getting ready. With no makeup or hair to worry about, the preparations didn’t take long so I took the boys onto the Salomons Estate grounds for some photos of them looking dapper in their grey wedding suits.

I thought the steps of the South Facing Terrace were perfect for their group shot, with the historical Salomons Estate Mansion providing an impressive backdrop. We had some more fun shooting in the gardens before I finally wrapped up with a few individual portraits of Matt indoors.

Aline and Matt were getting ready in the beautiful on site accomodation so I had plenty of time to make the most of the scenic venue and capture a variety of pre-ceremony wedding photos at Salomons Estate. The bridal party had lots of fun getting ready and even took the action outside onto their huge balcony/terrace where I got some additional shots with Salomons Estate’s lush green gardens in the background.

Aline made her grand entrance through the floral gardens, up onto the terrace and along the red carpet, where her flower girls led her to Matt who was waiting with a huge smile. Following the ceremony Aline and Matt stepped inside Salomons Estate mansion to sign the marriage register before returning outside to their cheering guests and a sprinkling of confetti.

It’s normally around this time in a wedding that I like to steal the couple away for some creative portraits and this wedding was no exception. Aline and Matt took the opportunity to share some intimate moments together as I led them through the estate’s colourful gardens to explore some of the best portrait locations, including the picturesque wooden bridge in the Salomons Estate woodlands.

Salomons Estate Wedding Ceremony

The weather was on it’s best behaviour in Royal Tunbridge Wells so Aline and Matt were able to have their wedding ceremony on the mansion’s South Facing Terrace. As any Salomons Estate wedding photographer will tell you; the stunning gardens, magnificent mansion house and the endless natural light make the South Facing Terrace perfect for bright, colourful wedding photos with an amazing backdrop from almost every angle.

As their Salomons Estate wedding photographer, I took the opportunity to guide them through some more creative portraits and then got them back to their guests to cut/murder the cake, dazzle with their first dance and party the rest of the night away.

After a delicious wedding breakfast, speeches and the odd glass of bubbly, the celebration moved back outside to enjoy the golden early evening light.

Aline and Matt’s wedding reception was held in the Salomons Estate Victorian Theatre which had been wonderfully styled and decorated for the occasion, making it a pleasure for me to work in.
